Let me start with the experience with Amazon. Currently, it is hard to get this camera, and I appreciate Amazon for providing this good camera. At the same time, the availability is highly inconsistent. Sometimes it will be available, then it won't be available, and it comes again. Pricing also varies in the same manner. I bought it for 65k, and after a few days, it dropped to 61k (including a 16-50mm kit lens). So, it is not a great buying experience.
The delivery was okayish. It came in a big package, reducing all impacts. The handling of the camera didn't seem that delicate. It was an okayish experience.
My requirements
Even though it is a vlogging camera, I didn't buy it for vlogging. I wanted a mirrorless camera with an APS-C sensor and great 4k video recording (good autofocus, less crop, good stabilization).
Build quality
Coming to the camera, it is a good camera for the price you pay. Build quality is good and doesn't feel cheap at all. If you compare it with other premium cameras having weather sealing, it may feel a bit short of quality. It cuts corners in weather sealing, EVF, the shoot mode button, and flash. The lack of EVF can be a deal breaker for many photographers, but we can get used to the display soon. The shoot dial can be assigned to a button to compensate. Flash is rarely used, and it might not be a big deal for most. Flip out screen is a good option for recording videos.
Image Quality is good, as it comes with an APS-C sensor. The kit lens is good enough for taking decent-quality photos. But, to get better results (sharper pics, lowlight performance, etc.), it is good to switch to other lenses. Sony's 50mm prime lens (20k) and Sigma 18-50 mm are some great lenses.
Video
Video quality is another area in which it excels. It shoots 4k without crop if you turn off the video stabilization and stabilize in catalyst browse. The sharpness, color, and autofocus are blended beautifully in this camera. If you go for Canon M50, you won't get good autofocus in 4k. To have that, you must go for M6 II, which costs around 80k!
Additional options for connectivity to the phone, earphone port, mic port, USB streaming, customizing, and light form factor are also good additions. The battery is decent, but I would recommend buying one extra.
If you want a good APS-C camera with good 4K video shooting, this is the best option you can get for this money. Obviously you have to bear with the cost cutting in EVF, flash, weather sealing, and shoot mode dial. - Reviewed in India on 22 October 2024A good camera even for photos and videos too, even if you buy it with kit lens, this 8-bit processor camera can generate good quality output if you have experience with cameras, or if you want to spend for long term just buy this camera body and buy a tamron 17-70mm lens with 2.8f , which will ive you great results in indoor and outdoor, portrait, street photography, or even telephotography, it will give you good results.

The small size gives you the liberty to carry this around without getting too much attention.
The battery life is perfect for my needs but I can't really compare since I haven't tried other cameras.
The picture quality is fantastic with sony's signature colour science. You can also shoot in s-log2 or HLG and then grade it to your taste in post.
The kit lens won't give you the best bokeh or the fastest shutter speeds but it is a great lens to start with. The image I attached was clicked with a third party manual lens with f/1.2. The limitations of the kit lens will make you better at lighting and composition. Best beginner lens I would say.
The camera isn't water and moisture resistant so I couldn't test it much during this rainy season. But I was looking for abudhet friendly vlogging camera where I can mount the camera on a stand and do my vlogging. For this purpose this camera is perfect fit. The menus are easy to use and picture quality is very good. The inbuilt mic also captures the audio perfectly. Only con is that its stability is no where to GoPro . Also if you keep the stability on the picture gets cropped a lot. Also wide angle is not so good with kit lens. But is a perfect camera to shoot with a stand.

The lack of IBIS makes the videos and exposure bracketing a little difficult to deal with when handheld, still trying to figure out how to use gyro data without using proprietory software.
The included lens is garbage for anything other than fast autofocus. Heavy vignetting effect on low focal length (wide shots) and very small aperture on high focal length (telephoto). Ditch the kit lens and get a better lens with it.

- Reviewed in India on 6 November 2022This is my first proper mirrorless camera. Before this, I was using my Hero GoPro 9 Black and my Samsung A50 for shooting my videos and pictures. I am very much satisfied with the camera. Though I would have preferred to go for a full-frame but considering the budget and risks involved in the initial learning process, I decided to go with ZV-e10L and am not at all disappointed.
Unless you are comfortable with dslr and mirorless cameras, initially go with the ZV-e10L version (comes with kit lens). First, master the camera using the kit lens.
Of the pictures shared, the moon shot and the flower bokeh one is with Sony 55-210mm lens on zv-e10. The other two pictures are with kit lens. You can watch video shot with this camera on my channel @dcpsir.
Generally, I am hesitant to shop for expensive electronic items on Amazon, but this experience was good. I got it 4k cheaper than the usual price also due to some discount on credit card. So, it did cost me Rs57,490.
Now, the usual bad experience with Amazon packaging and shipping these days: Two orders were to be delivered to me on the same day and some genius at the packaging and shipping decided to save some money and bundled the items together. Now, hold your breath: one item was the Sony Alpha zv-e10L and the other was Dove Baby shampoo. Though they put some tape on the shampoo nozel, just imagine what could have happened if the shampoo bottle had leaked!!! but I've literally shot a whole music video with this camera and a few short films as well. and I use this almost every day to make youtube videos as well. and the best part is that it can be a webcam with just a cable nothing else!!

This camera would be almost good but it's rolling shutter. yes, I knew it had very bad stabilisation and rolling shutter but it is too bad. bad mean, I would prefer shooting with my phone camera rather than this camera. you can not use any handheld video with this camera. Catalyst browser can fix it but the process is very time-consuming. it will frustrate you at some point.
